Inspiring the Next Generation of Math Innovators

National Math Camps provide immersive summer enrichment opportunities that allow campers to experience the joys of mathematical exploration with equally passionate peers in an environment that celebrates their curiosity and promotes friendship.


We offer multiple locations and session dates, allowing you the flexibility to choose the best fit for your camper. All Summer 2025 sessions offer campers two weeks of residential camp experiences with professional mathematicians exploring advanced topics in and out of the classroom. Campers will forge new friendships and create lifelong memories with other mathy kids, while living in dormitory housing on beautiful campuses with plenty of recreational activities available as well.

The NMC Experience

At National Math Camps, students engage in immersive learning with experts, experiencing what it’s like to be a real mathematician. They explore advanced topics in math through hands-on activities and interactive classes.

Camp Conway

Located at Harvey Mudd College, Camp Conway places students in a iconic setting for mathematical learning. And as part of the larger Claremont Colleges campus community, students will have access to private dormitory housing and community spaces at adjacent Scripps College, voted #1 best campus living in the U.S. by Princeton Review. The location and southern California weather offer plenty of outdoor learning and recreation opportunities for active campers in a secure and serene setting.

Camp Sierpiński

Nestled on a 23-acre campus in North Carolina’s renowned Research Triangle, Camp Sierpiński offers a secure and serene enviroment for intellectual pursuits. Students will live in a private dormitory steps away from dedicated classrooms and community spaces, with plenty of recreational options available as well. This location fosters creativity and collaboration, making it the ideal setting for students to dive deep into advanced mathematical concepts.

Eligibility and Cost

Who Can Attend?

Each National Math Camp has its own unique culture, leadership team, and specific audience in mind; please refer to the individual camp pages for details. All NMC camps are designed for mathematically talented students, with targeted age ranges that apply regardless of their grade level in school (this allows us to ensure that campers have a positive social experience with kids of similar ages.) We look at age as of June 1, 2025 to determine eligibility for summer 2025 camps, which will both target 11-14 year olds. Additional camps will be added soon for campers of different age ranges, so be sure to sign up for updates.

Typical Requirements

Prerequisites vary based on the individual camp selected. Students should demonstrate a strong interest in mathematics and readiness to participate in and benefit from the course content. Completing our online application and problem set will help us select campers who will thrive in our program.

Tuition Rates

Tuition may vary by camp and session. For Summer 2025, both Camp Conway and Camp Sierpinski will be $3,500 per two-week session, inclusive of tuition, room and board. Additional fees may apply; please see specific camp pages for detailed information.

Financial Aid

NMC is committed to making our summer camp experiences available to all qualified students. Financial aid is available based on need and our application process is need-blind. Upon receipt of an offer of admission, families can apply by completing a financial aid application and submitting supporting documentation.
